Alberto Villoldo

Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., is a Cuban-born psychologist and anthropologist who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Inka shamans for over 25 years. Since 1984 Villoldo directs The Four Winds Society, where he trains individuals in the practice of energy medicine and soul retrieval. A prolific author, he draws on his experiences in South America and on his knowledge of shamanic and energy healing; among his most popular books are Dance of the Four Winds, and Shaman, Healer, Sage.

Art Kunkin

Art Kunkin is the journalist who founded the alternative weekly newspaper, “The Los Angeles Free Press,” (1964 to the present) to oppose war and help the Cultural Creatives of our time rebuild society on humanist foundations. He was president of the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles after the passing of Manly Palmer Hall and was a Professor of Journalism at California State University, Northridge campus for five years. After graduating The Bronx High School of Science, he attended The New School For Social Research in New York City after which he became a master machinist, toolmaker and labor organizer in the auto and aircraft industries. During the last 83 years, he has also started and owned several large business operations employing hundreds of people.


After 30 years of laboratory research he believes he has rediscovered the Philosophers Stone of longevity and expects to live for 200 years or more.

Dave Stringer

Dave Stringer is a leader of the new American kirtan movement. Kirtan ( from the Sanskrit word meaning "to sing" ), is an age-old practice of rhythmic call-and-response mantra chanting that has become popular as a participatory live music happening in hundreds of yoga studios across the US. As Dave says, at a kirtan "You're not just listening to the music, you are the music."


Deva Premal

Best-known for her top-selling chant CDs, Deva Premal is a classically trained musician and gifted singer. She grew up singing mantras in a German home permeated with Eastern spirituality. Her albums have topped the New Age charts and popularity polls in yoga studios and healing centers throughout the world. Her latest album, The Moola Mantra, features a 50 minute extended presentation of a mantra received while on a meditation retreat with Miten at the Oneness University in Chennai, India.
